DIY Your Valentine’s Day Present

Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. Originating as a Western Christian feast day honouring one or two early saints named Valentinus, Valentine’s Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.

On Valentine's Day many people give cards, letters, flowers or presents to their spouse or partner. They may also arrange a romantic meal in a restaurant or night in a hotel. People who would like to have a romantic relationship with somebody may use the occasion to make this known, often anonymously.

Valentine's cards are often decorated with images of hearts, red roses or Cupid. Common Valentine's Day gifts are flowers, chocolates, candy and champagne or sparkling wine. However, some people use the occasion to present lavish gifts, such as jewellery. Many restaurants and hotels have special offers at this time. These can include romantic meals or weekend breaks.

But, if you’re bored of those chocolates, roses and stuffs also intended to give a special handmade gift to boost your Valentine’s Day, you can try these DIY projects to make one.

For extra touches of beauty, put a clay charm embellishment around the frame when you place it on the bedside table, the mantel or the study desk.

 c. Create a word tile picture frame. All you needed are words you desired, could be the name of your loves one or word “my love”, etc., you can get some alphabet clay charm embellishment from com, scrapping paper, glue and frame.

 d. Turns an empty chocolate or perfume box into a pretty place to stash love letters. To make the seashell version, you can glue on clay charm embellishment with seashell shape using a hot glue gun. For the fabric-covered box, cut a fabric scrap to fit, folding the edges under and hot gluing them in place. Then glued on costume jewellery, a vintage key, and other trinkets for extra flair.
