5 Simple Santa Craft for Your Christmas Day

You might be been busy with work and forget that Christmas is just around the corner. But, yes! Christmas is coming in a few weeks, mates. So, be ready.

As a festive also annual gathering day, Christmas always takes a special spot in our heart. Thus, making sure to be ready with some special presents, decor, and meals are important. So your Christmas will not pass by with nothing but good memories only. 

And anyway, for this upcoming Christmas, Santa theme will be the perfect craft items to do with the kids. Here are 5 simple Santa craft you can do to bring a better Christmas vibe:

1. Popsicle Stick Santa

A great Christmas tree ornament to make with the kids. With a few and easy materials, you’ll be able to make such a cute ornament. Here you’ll need 9 popsicle sticks, 3 cotton balls, glue, white paint, google eyes, pom-poms, triangle-shaped red fabric and hot glue.

Stick the popsicle sticks together. Around 7 sticks in a vertical position, then use two sticks just as wide as the entire piece and use hot glue to stick on the back. Let them dry, then paint the front side.

Cut a triangle-shaped hat for the Santa and add a pompom to it. Stick at the top popsicle sticks, shred cotton balls and use glue to stick it at the bottom, Glue the googly eyes and red pom-pom. And, your cute Santa ornament is ready to rock the Christmas day.

2. Santa-Craft Card

Send a holiday wishes with Christmas cards for family and friends will bring a warmer day. And this adorable Santa craft card will be the perfect activity to do with the kids.

To make this item, you’ll need white cardstock and/or paper, cotton balls, red glitter paper, glue, googly eyes, and small red pompom. Print the Santa template, or just do the freehand draw with the shape (picture 1). Then cut the template, and trace around it with red glitter paper for the hat. Paint white cardstock for the face.

Next, glue the hat to the top of the face. Add the cotton balls on the top to make the brim of the hat. Glue the cotton balls all around the face, leaving a portion to add the eyes and nose. Then, add the two googly eyes and a small red pompom for the nose. Also, add two cotton balls to the side of the pompom nose for the moustache.

Then write your desired words such as “Merry Christmas” etc. on the back of the card. Or you can add an extra card or paper and glue the top part onto the backside of the 'Santa face' to make a flip card.

3. Santa Hairbow

Christmas Day will be better with some embellishment. And the perfect hair accessory for an adorable look is Santa hair bow. Here are the steps to make one.

Cut a square, 7 wide by 6 inches tall. Spare the fabric into four folded areas (picture 2). Fold number 1 on number 2, and number 4 to number 3. Then fold the fabric to the centre part (picture 3), so you'll have the final shape (picture 4).

Sew or knit the centre part (dash lines) to make it settle. Cut a smaller-size fabric (± 1 inch), around 5 inches long. Position so the seam in the middle face-up, running vertically. Run the ribbon underneath (vertically), leaving the ends free. Sew the ends of the ribbon neatly with red thread. So you'll have this beautiful bow shape.

4. Santa Gift Bag

You’ll need, small mini red tote bags, black duct tape for a belt, self-adhesive gold craft foam, white fur trim, some buttons.

To make a Santa belt, add a strip of black duct tape across the middle of the bag. Then cut a square of metallic adhesive-backed craft foam. Cut a smaller square in the middle of that square to create a buckle. Next, stuck it on the belt to make a Santa bag.
